Chamber Theater – Cidade das Artes

Cidade das Artes is a large-scale cultural center located in Barra da Tijuca. The place is composed of different rooms with varied functions, making it a very versatile space for productions. The external space has a large water mirror, covered spaces and, inside, excellent facilities. The environment hosts music, theater, dance, and plastic arts, among other cultural manifestations.
The Chamber Theater room has two different scenic configurations. Thanks to the circular platform on which the stage and the first rows of the audience are installed. It can serve as a classical front room for theater and music or a kind of amphitheater. The space accommodates 439 seats of red armchairs, and the walls are wood-paneled. The stage is 10 meters in diameter.
