1. For International Reach Audiovisual Works:

• The minimum eligible expenses in Rio de Janeiro must be at least R$ 2,000,000.00 (two million reais), to be executed by December 2024.
• The maximum amount of eligible expenses in Rio de Janeiro covered by RIOFILME resources is 30% (thirty percent) or 35% (thirty-five percent) up to the limit of R$ 2,000,000.00 (two million reais).
• The proposal must also plan for the premiere in at least 6 non-Lusophone countries, totaling at least 100 million inhabitants.

Points below only refer to proposals eligible for the 35%.

• The proposal must include the use of at least 2 (two) emblematic locations in the city of Rio de Janeiro, either real or reproduced in a studio located in Rio de Janeiro municipality (at least one scene in each).
• The city of Rio de Janeiro must be the location for at least 60% of the scenes.
• The narrative must be set in the city of Rio de Janeiro.

Eligible Formats for International Reach Non-Advertising Audiovisual Works:

• Non-serialized fiction or animation feature-length audiovisual works with a minimum duration of 71 (seventy-one) minutes.
• Serialized audiovisual works with a minimum of 03 (three) episodes and a minimum season duration of 150 (one hundred and fifty) minutes, including fiction, animation, or reality shows.
• Eletronic Games with distribution agreements executed with publishers of global reach.

Subscription Fee:

To complete the proposal submission, a payment of R$20,000.00 (twenty thousand reais) must be made through a bank deposit to an account indicated by RIOFILME.

*The amount paid on account of the subscription fee will be considered an eligible expense in the event of selection and execution of the agreement concerning the PROPOSAL. 

2. For National Reach Audiovisual Works from Other States:

• The minimum eligible expenses in Rio de Janeiro must be at least R$ 1,000,000.00 (one million reais), to be executed by December 2024.
• The maximum amount of eligible expenses in Rio de Janeiro covered by RIOFILME resources is 30% (thirty percent) or 35% (thirty-five percent) up to the limit of R$ 1,000,000.00 (one million reais).
• Provide that at least three (3) of the technical and artistic team leaders will be
  Brazilian residents in the city of Rio de Janeiro for 2 years at least.

Points below only refer to proposals eligible for the 35%

• The proposal must include the use of at least 2 (two) emblematic locations in the city of Rio de Janeiro, either real or reproduced in a studio located in Rio de Janeiro municipality (at least one scene in each).
• The city of Rio de Janeiro must be the location for at least 60% of the scenes.
