São Conrado Beach stretches from the end of Niemeyer Avenue to the São Conrado tunnel. The main characteristic of the beach is the hang gliding and paragliding landing in its right corner. In 2002 a clean-up project was started, the sand is white and fluffy, the sea has strong waves and is ideal for surfing.
