The Vista Chinesa is a monument in shape of an oriental gazebo located in the Parque Nacional da Floresta da Tijuca. The vista chinesa got its name from chinese farmers which were brought to the city to plant tea in the beginning of 19th century, after the portuguese court arrival in Brazil. It has one of the most beautiful views of the city, like the Sugar Loaf, Corcovado, the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon and beaches of the south zone. The Tijuca forest is the biggest urban forest in the world (3.972 km²).
