Located within the Mocotó Farm, in the Imbé region, the Tombo d’Água Waterfall is part of the Desengano State Park, an environmental preservation area that is considered the most beautiful Atlantic Forest reserve in the state of Rio de Janeiro. Along with other waterfalls, such as Maracanã, Tobogã and Babilônia, it comprises a paradisiacal area in the Campos de Goytacazes municipality that is recommended to adventure-seeking tourists. Dirt roads, dense vegetation and stones-packed rivers are part of this lush scenery.
Thanks to the preserved greenery, the region’s climate is quite pleasant. At Tombo d’Água one can bathe in a natural pool of transparent water and enjoy a nature-made shower.
