Leaving from the Marina da Glória, one can take boat trips along Guanabara Bay and enjoy some of the best views of two cities in the state. On the Rio de Janeiro side, one can appreciate a privileged, unique angle of the Sugarloaf mountain and the Flamengo, Botafogo and Urca beaches, on the opposite site, in neighboring Niterói, there are the São Francisco, Icaraí, Flechas and Boa Viagem beaches. Once in Niterói, proper, visitors can see the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), the Santa Cruz Fortress, and the Fiscal, Moncaguê, Enxadas and Cobras islands. Between the two cities lies the Rio-Niterói bridge, that extends across the whole bay.
